New Door Styles

Here at RM Kitchens we are constantly looking to develop door styles that are not available anywhere else in the industry. We research styles that will create unique looks for our clients, produce the tooling to make them and then bring them into our library of selections.

This is our “Raccoon Creek” door. It is inspired from an antique piece of furniture located in a Delaware museum. The name we gave it stems from an entrepreneurial business for which it was designed. There is a display in our showroom which beautifully shows the unique features of this bold door.

This is our “Old Mill” door. It is designed to replicate a door style that was used in early American, primitive cabinets. It is an excellent door for creating very old, and heavily distressed, antique looks. The name was chosen by us to relate to the place where we first found some of this old cabinetry for sale. A display is being installed in early 2008 in our showroom which will incorporate this style.

This is our newest door creation; we call it the “Alden Manor” door. It is inspired from architecture found in a 19th century mansion located a few miles from our showroom.

This unique door lends itself to a variety of design motifs even though it is derived from Old World molding details. The door has recently been used in contemporary bathroom cabinetry, with excellent results.

Future Events

Here at RM Kitchens we are in the midst of renovating many of our showroom displays. We had refrained from updating while we were in the process of planning and building our new manufacturing facility. Now that the new plant is complete and is working well, we have turned our attention back to the showroom. Not only are we putting in numerous displays of our Martin Custom Cabinetry, we are also completely updating all of our Signature Custom Cabinetry displays.

It is our intention to provide an open house event in the fall of 2008 to officially unveil the new displays. In the meantime you are welcome to stop in and see what is already completed and what is currently being installed. Information concerning the open house will be announced to the public as soon as we can determine the time of completion.
